We're part of something bigger.
Medical Alert Monitoring
Acadian Monitoring Services began in 1995 as a monitoring company that solely monitored medical alerts. Since then Acadian has moved on to monitor a number of other types of systems but still monitors over 15,000 medical alert systems at this time. From basic medical alerts with two way to mobile PERS Acadian is capable of handling a number of different medical alert systems.

Acadian operates one of the only highly specialized medical monitoring centers in the nation. With more than 50 years of medical response experience, our monitoring centers are staffed with emergency medical dispatch trained employees, who are dedicated to medical and personal safety monitoring 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The mission of the professionals who work in our monitoring centers is to quickly assess your situation and calmly deliver pre-arrival instructions as needed, following any custom instructions you may specify.

Our fully staffed, highly accredited monitoring centers are TMA-certified and operate under our qualified medical director and nurse manager.

Mobile PERS
Acadian was one of the first wholesale central stations to monitor Mobile PERS in the United States. Acadian currently integrates with the MobileHelp PERS product line and can monitor a dealer partner’s customer anywhere in the United States where that system will work. Acadian is currently working on integrating other Mobile PERS into its monitoring portfolio so please reach out to your Acadian representative if there is a Mobile PERS product that interests you.

Acadian Monitoring Services is a subsidiary of Acadian Ambulance Service which is the largest privately owned ambulance company in the world. As such it should come as no surprise that Acadian Monitoring Services has deep roots in the life safety industry.

Did you know that Acadian Monitoring Services founder, Blane Comeaux, was actually one of the founding members of the Medical Alert Medical Association (MAMA) which is the largest association in the world dedicated to medical alert companies?

What is Medical Dispatching?

When activated the dealer partner’s customer will automatically call Acadian, which has access to your customer’s information, including account history and contact list. The dispatcher will then communicate with the dealer partner’s customer and evaluate the situation. If it is determined that help is needed, the dispatcher will send EMS, fire or police.
